Oman Tennis: Fatma Al Nabhani eases into second round of Gwalior tourney

Muscat: Oman’s Fatma Al Nabhani eased into the second round of $15,000 ITF Women’s Circuit tournament in India on Tuesday.
In the first round of tournament being played in in Gwalior, a city in the central Indian state of Madhya Pradesh, Fatma had an easy outing conceding just one game on her way to a 6-1, 6-0 win over Indian wild card Prakriti Banwani.
In the second round, top-seeded Fatma will take on local girl Yadlapalli Pranjala.
Pranjala advanced to the second round after defeating Nandini Sharma 6-2, 2-6, 7-5 in an all-Indian first round match.
