Oman's graduate survey for 2017 completed

Muscat: A survey to ascertain among other things the time it takes for graduates to get jobs in the Sultanate has been completed.
The 2017 Graduate National Survey, conducted by the Graduate Survey Department of the Ministry of Higher Education, kicked off in January.
The aimed of the survey was to evaluate the extent of knowledge, skills and abilities acquired by graduates of academic years 2013-2014, 2014-2015, and 2015-2016, which qualify them join the labour market.
More than 25,000 graduates holding qualifications from the Diploma to PhD, responded to the survey said Dr. Fatima bint Said Al Hajri, Director of Survey
Department.
The number of male graduates who took part in the survey stood at 8,963 while the number of female graduates stood at 16,050, she added.
