32 arrested for illegally entering Oman

Muscat: 32 people were arrested last week for entering the country illegally, ROP announced.
In cooperation with military and security agencies, the Royal Oman Police has arrested 32 infiltrators of various nationalities for entering the Sultanate illegally. 18 infiltrators were arrested in Dhofar Governorate, 10 in Al Buraimi Governorate, 2 in the Al Batinah Governorate, one person in the governorate of Muscat, and one person in Al Sharqiya province.
The ROP made arrangements to deport the violators from nine Asian and African nationalities through Muscat International Airport and in coordination with the embassies of their countries. The ROP also continues to investigate 307 infiltrators, including 34 women, before taking legal action and deporting them.
The ROP is thankful to the citizens and residents’ important roles in combating illegal action, and their contributions in reporting suspicious expat workers by calling the Police Operations Center.
