Cracks on Muscat airport bridge 'nothing to worry about' says municipality

Muscat: Muscat Municipality has assured drivers that cracks appearing on the bridge leading to the airport are not a cause for concern.
Reports of cracks on the airport bridge have been circulating on social media. The posts caught the attention of Muscat Municipality which immediately sent experts to inspect the situation.
“The cracks were inspected and the results show that there are cracks in the asphalt between the dirt and asphalt,” said Muscat Municipality in a tweet.
“The cracks located before the bridge are not caused by the construction. It will not affect the safety of the bridge. We assure you that there is nothing to worry about,” said the tweet.
