#OmanPride: OMR350 raised by school in Oman

Muscat: Students and their parents at OurPlanet International School Muscat raised OMR350 in charity for children with
special needs.
In the spirit of the season, mothers of students from KG1 to Grade four organised a winter celebration with games, activities and food from all over the world and managed to raise OMR350 for children with special needs.
Everyone in the school enjoyed the international get together and had an opportunity to try out flavours from different parts of
the world.
They also participated in a charity raffle, that featured great prizes.
Local companies and organisations gifted generous vouchers and coupons to support the raffle, and proceeds from the raffle will go to the Early Intervention Centre for children with special needs
in Muscat.
“Everybody can make a difference in this world if you put your mind to it and if you join forces with like-minded people,” said Sonja Salzsieder, one of the main organisers of the event.
