Muscat: The State Council held its fifth regular general meeting of the second annual sitting of the fifth term under the chairmanship of Dr. Yahya bin Mahfoudh Al Manthri, Chairman of the State Council, in the presence of the members of the Council and Dr. Khalid bin Salim Al Saeedi, Secretary-General of the State Council.
The meeting discussed many topics on the agenda of the Council and took the following decisions: First: The adoption of the proposal by the Legal Committee on the amendment of the Criminal Litigation Degrees.
Second: The adoption of the report of the Committee on Human Resources Development on "the Social Insurance Act (72/91)", and its amendments.
Third: The two issues above to be referred to the Government, after taking into consideration the comments made by the honourable members.
